The Woofery was created in response to requests from the clients of our busy dog grooming salon "Wash A Woofa" Dog Groomers. Our grooming salon was established over eleven years ago and in that time we have become Adelaide's most awarded grooming salon having won seven business awards in the last four years.
Over the years we have received countless requests from our clients to provide them with a good quality, healthy gourmet dog treat to purchase from the retail area within our grooming salon. We looked for a good product line to stock for our customers but we were unable to find gourmet treats that would be healthy for dogs. At the time all of the options available to us had sugar, salt, artificial colours and flavours and lots of preservatives. We also found that many products did not disclose all ingredients as this is not required for pet food packaging in Australia. All of these additives are unnecessary and are very bad for your dog's health.
And so.. The Woofery was born! After several years of research working with Naturopaths, Veterinarians and most importantly doggy taste testers we have developed a line of very healthy and tasty dog cookies and gourmet treats. All of our products are free of preservatives, artificial colours and flavours, and have no added sugar or salt. We only use human grade ingredients and we even have an organic range. Our cookies and treats are very low in fat and certain varieties are designed to have added health benefits for your pet. Our extensive recipe trials and testing of ingredients enables us to completely eliminate the need for any preservatives.

The Woofery has a standard cookie range and gourmet treat range that is available all year round and we also produce special occasion lines for events like Christmas and Easter. Our gourmet range includes Pooch Pretzels, Droolin Donuts, Barkin Bars and many more. We also make the Worlds Largest Dog Cookie which can be personalized for any special occasion and other bakery lines such as Mutt Muffins and Doggy Birthday Cakes just to name a few.
