Handmade in Adelaide since 2002

The Woofery started with a simple idea: dogs deserve treats made with the same care and quality we'd expect for ourselves.

More than two decades later, we're still baking every treat by hand in small batches from our Hallett Cove base in Adelaide, South Australia. No factory lines. No mass production. Just honest ingredients, thoughtful recipes, and a genuine love of dogs.

Meet Mandy

The Woofery was founded by Mandy McNamara, a certified dog nutritionist who has spent over 25 years in the pet industry. Mandy's approach has always been the same: understand what dogs actually need, and make treats that reflect that.

Every recipe at The Woofery is designed with dog health in mind. Low in fat, free from artificial colours and flavours, and made from ingredients you'd recognise. Many of our treats are suited to dogs with health conditions like diabetes, pancreatitis, and wheat or egg sensitivities.

What we make

Our range covers everyday biscuits for daily rewards, gourmet decorated treats for special occasions, dehydrated single-protein treats, seasonal ranges for Christmas and Easter, and freshly baked birthday cakes and pupcakes for Adelaide dogs celebrating in style.

Everything ships Australia-wide (except our fresh cakes, which are Adelaide pickup only).

Why handmade matters

Handmade means your dog's treats are baked fresh once your order is placed. It means we control every ingredient. It means shelf life without preservatives, around six months or more for all of our biscuit range, because of the way we bake, not because of what we add.

It also means we need a little time. We ask for 14 to 21 days for treat orders, and we think your dog will agree it's worth the wait.
